We offer several wallcoverings types, and each requires a specific installation method. you’ll find the recommended hanging technique and paste listed on every product page, but here’s a quick guide:

Digitally Printed Wallcoverings

Most of our wallcoverings are digitally printed onto a non-woven substrate. For these, we recommend a water‑based, pre‑mixed adhesive suitable for paste‑the‑wall application, such as:

Beeline Yellow Top Wallcovering Adhesive

Solvite “Paste the Wall” Adhesive

Both are widely available at DIY retailers or online.

Cork and Sisal Wallcoverings

Cork wallcoverings can be installed using either paste‑the‑paper or paste‑the‑wall methods.

If you’re still unsure which paste is right for your wallcovering, our Customer Care team will be happy to advise.

It’s important to note that our wallpaper is printed to order, so slight colour variations can occur between batches. For the best result, we recommend ordering all the rolls you need at the same time.

If your walls exceed the standard height, you’re wallpapering a stairwell, or you’d like assistance with your measurements, contact us and our studio team is happy to help.

A smooth, well‑prepared surface will always give the best result when hanging wallpaper.

Ensure your walls are clean, dry, smooth, and free from loose paint or old wallpaper. Remove any flaking areas, fill holes, and sand where needed to create an even base.

In most cases, a primer isn’t required for installing our wallpaper. However, highly absorbent surfaces — such as newly plastered walls or those plastered within the last three years — should be sealed with a suitable primer first. This prevents the paste from soaking in too quickly, which can lead to shrinkage during installation.

Tip: For an impeccable finish, paint vertical stripes on the wall at intervals the same as the product width using an emulsion shade close to the wallpaper’s base colour. This ensures that any minimal shrinkage remains invisible.

For walls taller than 3.3m, including stairways and double‑height spaces  a bespoke scenic wallpaper order will be required.

If you’re looking for a design that no longer appears on our website, we may still be able to produce it for you. Simply get in touch with our team with the name or details of the wallpaper you’re interested in, and we’ll be happy to check availability and advise on next steps.

Our digital wallpapers are printed to order, which means we don’t hold stock from earlier batch numbers. Any new role will be produced as part of a fresh batch. While our printers are calibrated daily to minimise variation, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match to a previous order. Differences are usually subtle, though they may be more noticeable on darker designs.

Additional digital rolls can be purchased directly through our website. Please note that, as they are made to order, they are non‑returnable.

Our wallpapers can be installed in bathrooms and other humid spaces, provided the environment is well‑ventilated. The substrate we print on is durable and performs beautifully in areas where moisture is present.

The key to success is in the installation. Use a high‑quality, water‑based pre‑mixed adhesive suitable for paste‑the‑wall application, and ensure the walls are properly prepared. Once the wallpaper has fully dried, we recommend sealing the surface with a protective decorators varnish — a product such as Polyvine Dead Flat Varnish works well to add an additional layer of moisture resistance.

Pay close attention to the seams and edges during installation, as these areas benefit from extra care to prevent moisture from finding its way behind the paper.

For the best possible finish, wallpaper performs beautifully on a smooth, well‑prepared surface. If your walls are dry, even, and stable, you’re already off to a strong start. Older or uneven walls may need a little extra attention — removing any loose material, filling small imperfections, or lightly sanding can make a noticeable difference. In many cases, applying lining paper first will help create a more uniform base.

However, if your walls have a pronounced texture, such as an orange‑peel or similar finish, lining paper alone won’t disguise it. In these situations, we recommend stripping back the surface or re‑plastering to achieve a smooth foundation before installation.

Tip: Newly plastered walls should always be sealed with a suitable primer. This prevents the paste from being absorbed too quickly, which can cause the wallpaper to tighten or shrink as it dries.

Yes — our wallpapers can be specified for commercial environments. For added resilience in high‑traffic areas, we recommend applying a clear protective varnish once installation is complete. This helps enhance durability while preserving the integrity of the design.

How do I wallpaper around corners

Working neatly around corners helps maintain the flow of the design and ensures a crisp, professional finish. Here’s how to approach both internal and external corners.

Internal corners

Brush paste right into the corner so the paper can sit cleanly against the wall.

Hang the drop as usual, allowing it to run slightly into the corner — around 2–3 cm is usually enough.

Use the next drop to realign the design on the adjoining wall. This may create a small overlap.

Trim back any excess so the paper sits flat and meets the corner cleanly.

Smooth the paper firmly into place to ensure a perfect fit.

External corners

Gently wrap the wallpaper around the corner, keeping the pattern straight as you go.

If the paper overlaps, trim away the excess for a clean edge.

Press the paper firmly into position so it hugs the corner smoothly.

Top tip:

If a small overlap remains on an external corner, keep it wrapped around the edge so it stays out of sight and maintains a seamless look.

Scenic wallpapers behave differently from small repeating patterns, as the artwork is designed to flow as a continuous mural. You won’t need to calculate a traditional pattern repeat , each panel is numbered and designed to align seamlessly with the next.

If you’re unsure how the design will map across your wall, our team can provide scaled elevations or guide you through the layout.

Our wallpapers are designed to be long‑lasting and easy to maintain. For everyday care, simply dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, a lightly dampened cloth can be used on most designs, just avoid excessive rubbing or harsh cleaning products, as these may damage the surface.

For scenic wallpapers with fine detailing, gentle care will help preserve the artwork for years to come.

Absolutely. Our wallpapers are durable and designed to stand up to everyday living. However, because installation and removal require care, we recommend having a professional installer handle both processes in rental spaces.

If you need guidance on reversible installation methods, our team can advise on the best approach for your project.

Removing existing wallpaper carefully is essential for achieving a smooth base. Gently score the surface, apply a wallpaper‑removal solution or warm water, and allow it to soak before lifting the paper with a scraper. Avoid over‑saturating the wall, as this can damage plaster.

If the previous wallpaper leaves residue or the wall becomes uneven, a light sand or skim may be needed before installation.

Many of our scenic designs can be adapted to suit your space — whether that’s adjusting the colour palette, refining the scale, or tailoring the artwork to architectural features.

If you have a specific vision in mind, our studio team can advise on what’s possible and prepare a bespoke quotation.

We only sell fabric by the full metre. If you require an in-between measurement, we recommend ordering the next full metre up. This way, you’ll have extra fabric should you wish to create something else or keep it as a spare for future use. Unfortunately, We’re unable to offer any other cutting options.

All of our fabrics are dry clean only unless otherwise stated or have been engineered specially for a commercial project. 

Many of our fabrics are designed to perform beautifully across a range of interior applications, including domestic upholstery, curtains, and blinds. Each textile is crafted with quality and longevity in mind, though it’s important to note that our fabrics are not water‑resistant as standard.

Our fabrics are crafted using beautiful natural fibres, and like all textiles of this kind, they appreciate a little care when it comes to sunlight. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to strong, direct light where possible, simply to help preserve the richness of the colours over time.

In everyday ambient light, this is rarely an issue. On designs such as our printed velvets — particularly those with deeper or more saturated tones — you may notice subtle changes more readily if placed in very bright, sun‑facing areas.

Our fabrics can be specified for commercial interiors, provided they receive the appropriate flame‑retardant treatment. This service can be arranged through our studio, ensuring the textile meets the requirements of your project.

Yes —We’re able to develop bespoke fabrics for contract and hospitality projects. Our studio can adapt existing designs or create something entirely new, and we can arrange the appropriate flame‑retardant treatments to ensure the fabric meets commercial performance standards.

Velvet has a natural nap — a directional pile that catches the light differently depending on how it’s positioned. This is part of what gives velvet its depth, richness, and luxurious movement. When upholstering or making soft furnishings, your maker will ensure all panels run in the same direction so the colour appears consistent across the piece.

Variations in shading are a normal characteristic of velvet and contribute to its distinctive, luminous quality.

We recommend gentle spot‑cleaning by a professional dry cleaning to preserve the richness of the fabric and the integrity of the print. Natural‑fibre textiles appreciate delicate handling, and professional care will keep them looking their best over time.

We do not sell fillers separately, and cushions cannot be purchased without a filler. Inserts may be shipped separately.

To achieve their signature, luxurious shape, your cushions are filled with pads that are intentionally slightly larger than the cover itself. This creates a beautifully plump, elevated silhouette that holds its form and adds a sense of volume to the design.

Your large cushions are paired with a 62cm × 62cm pad, while the medium cushions are finished with a 47 cm × 47 cm insert. The result is a cushion that feels generous, inviting, and impeccably tailored.

Your wallpaper samples are supplied in an A3 format (29.7cm × 42cm). They are folded once so they can be delivered through a standard letterbox with ease. While larger samples aren’t available, you’re welcome to order multiple pieces of the same design if you’d like to visualise the pattern across a broader area.

Fabric samples are provided in A5 size (14.8cm × 21cm). For projects that require a larger reference, we also offer fabric flags on loan — simply contact our team and we’ll be happy to assist.

For select products, larger samples are available.

Fabric flags — approximately one metre in length — can be loaned for up to seven working days, allowing you to experience the fabric scale, colour, and movement within your space.

While larger wallpaper samples aren’t available, you’re welcome to order multiple A3 samples of the same design to help you visualise the pattern across a broader area. Before placing a multi‑sample order, we recommend checking with our Customer Care team to ensure the design isn’t a placement print.

If you’d like assistance arranging a fabric flag loan or guidance on sampling options, our team will be happy to help.

Our samples are pre‑cut and dispatched directly from our warehouse, which means We’re not able to select a particular section of the design for individual orders.

If you’re trying to match a specific colour or motif within the pattern, our team will be happy to advise and help guide you toward the best option to help with your needs.

All samples are non‑returnable. If you have any questions or would like guidance before placing your order, our Customer Care team will be happy to assist.

We take great care to ensure consistency, but slight variations can occur between batches due to the nature of production. Samples provide an excellent indication of colour and texture, though ordering all required meterage at once ensures the closest match.

Digital previews can be helpful for an initial impression, these are available on our product pages. In addition to this we always recommend ordering physical samples to appreciate the true colour, scale, and material quality.
